Special Accomodations

Disability Resources serves all students who have a diagnosis that requires accommodations.

Disability Resources serves all students who have a diagnosis that requires accommodations. Examples of accommodations include extra time on exams, note taking services, housing arrangements, and other reasonable accommodations that are specifically designed to meet the needs of individual students.

If you believe you have a condition that will require accommodations, please contact Disability Resources (DR) as soon as possible. You will need to submit documentation of your diagnosis to DR and meet with them before your accommodations can be approved. Contact Disability Resources by calling 314-935-5970 for any questions or to schedule an appointment.

While we want to hear from all incoming students who will need accommodations, it is of particular importance that any student needing physical accommodations contact us as soon as possible. Disability Resources works to ensure that all students live and take classes in rooms that are accessible. We are only able to ensure accessibility if students with specific needs identify themselves to us. If you have a condition that makes it difficult for you to climb stairs or travel across campus, please let us know. Ideally, please let us know of your needs as soon as you register for your classes. We will do everything we can to make sure your housing and academic needs are met.

We strongly recommend you make contact during the months of June or July to ensure everything is ready for your arrival in August.
