A time-honored tradition at WashU, Convocation is the official academic welcome to the university. Students will join the Chancellor, Provost, Deans, and Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs in Brookings Quad along with their classmates in the Class of 2027. Convocation will take place on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. Following Convocation, there will be a party on the East End of campus.
Families are encouraged to participate in this time-honored university tradition from the comfort of their homes, via the livestream. The in-person event is for students only.
